History of theatre
Solemn opening of the Belarus republican theatre of the young spectator has taken place on April, 8th, 1956. Spectators accepted scenes from three performances: from a performance of the novel of N.Ostrovskogo «As the steel», from a fairy tale «City of masters» of T.Gabbe and from a modern drama «Love of Ani Beryozko» V.Pistolenko became tempered. L.Mozolevskaja of L.Mozolevskaja in search of original Belarus repertoire which would help collective to show the own creative person, has developed wide cooperation of theatre with beginners, while a little known, but talented Belarus playwrights. In 1957 the play of the young teacher from Vitebsk E.Pasova "Arcady Zhigalkin" has been put, after it debuted A.Gutkovich and V.Hozansky with the play «Young avengers», then I.Shemjakin, A.Volsky, P.Makal etc. Soon after N.Gamolka, V.Mehov, A.Mahnach, E.Shaban, A.Dudarev and others, become subsequently known playwrights, writers, publicists. Play statement «a fern Flower» (1957) young playwright Ivan Kozela became a new word for the Belarus republican theatre of the young spectator and for all Belarus theatrics. A bright national originality I.Kozela's other play directed by L.Mozolevskoj «Over waves of Serebrjanki» (1961) which summed up results of five years' work of theatre differed also and used a deserved success at spectators. With change of an art management (has headed B.Dokutovich) in the new plays intended, basically, for a teenage audience, the romantiko-adventure and in a revolutionary way-heroic theme has begun to sound. The bright, first statement approached to the present on the Belarus scene of the play of V.Mayakovsky "Bug" (1962) became event of theatre life of those years. Spectators were carried away by Rajmonda Pauls's dynamical modern music, superfashionable suits of the Fox and a Cat, difficult machinery of a scene actively used in performance. In a role of Buratino debuted then young actress ТЮЗа Ekaterina Dovner. In the beginning of 70th N.Shejko has headed a creative management of theatre. At this time at theatre the aspiration tendency to more"adult"to repertoire has amplified.
